Refund Policy

While we feel that we offer a good product, we do realize that our publication is not for everyone.  As such, we offer a 10 day no questions refund policy* on single issues, and a 30 day no questions refund* on subscriptions.  Just contact us at admin@speculativefictionstories.com with 'refund request' as the subject, and your order details in the body and we will process the refund to you as soon as possible.

For subscriptions, a partial refund may be requested after the 30 day period with the following restrictions.  Any issues of the publication already sent out will be billed against the original subscription price at the most appropriate higher rate.  For example, if you have received three months of a twelve month subscription, the cost of a three month subscription will be deducted from the total cost of the twelve month subscription before a refund is processed.  A processing fee of 5% of the original price will also be added to this amount before the refund is processed.

* We reserve the right to refuse further business with parties requesting refunds.  If you decide the publication is not to your taste, there is no reason you should be ordering it again.  Repeated orders after a refund will void future refundss.

Terms of Use

You understand and agree that the owners of this site shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or exemplary damages, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, data or other intangible losses (even if the owners of this site have been advised of the possibility of such damages), resulting from the use or the inability to use the product(s) and or service(s) or any misuse of the product(s) and or service(s) in a manner not in accordance with their intended use.

When you purchase an issue of Separate Worlds, either through individual purchase or subscription, you are entitled copy the publication to any computers or electronic devices owned and used by you.  You may (and in fact are encouraged to) make up to three copies to recordable CD or DVD or an external harddrive for backup purposes.  You may place the publication on flash drives for transfer to other devices.  You are authorized to print out one paper copy of each publication.  Organizational subscriptions are authorized to print out unlimited paper copies for internal use only.  Please contact us at admin@speculativefictionstories.com to inquire about organizational subscriptions.
